If these theoretically get moved around a lot, you don't want the carpet on sharp corners. I rounded the corners for looks as well as functionality. They both need terminals, carpet, and handles after I'm done installing the bracing in the second one. I know even best-case scenario that there are far better designs out there, but I just want to get these built and get that notch on my belt. I now know these woofers need an extensive break-in time, and the woofer chambers need to be completely air tight. I lost interest after hooking it up and hearing it for the first time. I wasn't much of a woodworker(still not, but better), and I almost finished one of the horns. Between the grid and the measurements on the original drawing, I was able to figure it out. Found a drawing for it, and then made a printout with a 36x36 grid overlayed. I found out that the model of horn these were installed in was called SL-36. Had I known then what I know now, you wouldn't be able to pay me to take them, but they looked so CUTE! I bought recone kits, reconed them, then decided to start building new enclosures like the ones the woofers came from the factory with. I couldn't resist, it was like adopting puppies. Almost two years ago I got pulled into this project when I saw a pair of blown Cerwin Vega 189sw 18" "subs" on Craigslist for $20 each.
